Hydrate Spark 2.0

Hey dears. Quite recently I wanted to start my water journey. What better way than to get a water bottle that will keep track of your water intake, help you to meet your goal, & will light up when it's time for you to drink. I did a lot of research & review reading. Majority of the reviews were good, there were a few that said they their bottle kept losing connect with the app. I have not experienced this yet & I hope I don't. I started it last Saturday & have met my goal everyday. I only find I have to meet my goal by at least 3pm, if not I get up to use the restroom all night. My skin feels better, I also feel better over all during the day. I'm sure my kidneys appreciate it too. I got mine from Target for $50.

Teacher Appreciation Ideas

Hey dears so next month is Teacher Appreciation Day. Let's be honest these teachers deserve more than just a day for putting up with our kids. So I like to do a little something for them. Hayden has 6 teachers & this year I wanted to something simple yet thoughtful. So on Etsy you can get a pack of 4 mini cookies for $3.00 from Just4YouTreats (photo above) & I got them each a Target gift card & attached it to a little card I found on Pinterest for free. They also have different cards for different places you can do instead of Target. I just love this little idea. Picture credit to the owners who's linked!

What are you doing for your kids teacher's this year?

Planning For Babies First Flight

Hey dears. If you know me, you would know I'm an early planner. We have a big trip coming in Summer 2019 to Canada & I've already started researching. Some of my favorite travel tips videos to watch are from SprinkleOfGlitter & WhatsUpMoms. Mainly I wanted to know peoples opinions of what to bring, what worked best for their kids, to check the car seat or not, etc. Also I started doing my research for child passports & what I would need for crossing the boarder if my hubby would be unable to get off of work. Let me tell you, I'm glad I did because I would need a notary form from my hubby saying its ok for me to take bub out of the country.

So after all my research I complied a list of things I wanted to bring on a flight with us & I started picking a few things off my list. My plan is for some of the items to be for bubs Christmas from Santa. Have you ever flown with a toddler before? Thoughts? Tips? Tricks?

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil

Hey dears. I've always been a lover and using eye shadow in my eye brows, however I recently picked up this Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in #4 Medium. I've been using it for about 2 weeks & I hate to say I think I may like this more then using eye shadow. It gives it a natural look. One end had a brush on it to make the hair sit right & then you pass the pencil end across your brow. I got mine from Ulta for $24. Definitely recommend.

15 Month | Update

Hey dears. It that time again for an update on bub. He recently made 15 months & let me tell you this kid gives me a run for my money. So let's do a break down.

STATS
He weighs 19.3 lbs & is 28.5 inches long. He still has a big head measuring at 18.5 inches. we're also update to date on all our shots.

FOOD
He will literally eat or try anything. He still has a distaste for peas & green beans. His favorites are bread, rice, & noddles. He also had a big sweet tooth. Don't fret though, we don't go crazy giving him sweets. He recently learned to drink from a hard spout cup & drink from a straw. He has a love for milk too.

CLOTHING
In shirts/onesies bub is rocking 12 months. In Pjs he's starting to outgrow his 12 month size, so I recently purchased a few 18 months. In pants/shorts bub is in 6-9 months. (short legs & small waist). Shoes we are in a size 3.

SLEEP
He sleeps throughout the whole night!

ACTIVITIES
We are almost walking. He loves to hold your hands & walk with you. He also pulls up on anything he can get his hands on & walk along furniture. He is literally everywhere & tries to get into everything. He recently also learned to open & close drawers. FUN!

TALKING
If you have been around him recently you will know he will talk your ear off, or sing it off. He was a wide range of words he knows, which the doctor says most kids don't have. He will sing Row Row (row row your boat) or E-I-E-I-O (old McDonald). He also calls Momo (Camo) & Ack (Max). But be careful what you say because he will try to repeat anything he hears you say.

Easter Madness

Hey dears. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter, I know we did. For Good Friday we got together at my sisters house & boiled crawfish (which is standard where we are from) & got together with our family & my nephews wife's family. Kids played, crawfish were eaten, confetti eggs were cracked (so many eggs), eggs were dyed, baskets given, egg hunts happened, adults chit chatted. It was a great day. Saturday was a day of rest & house work knowing Sunday would be just as busy as Friday. Sunday we got together with my side of the family for lunch & BBQ'd, baskets given, egg hunt, & more chit chat. Once we got home by hubby's side of the family came that evening & we order food, more baskets, & more chit chat.

All in all we had a great Easter, sadly hubby was offshore for it. Hayden had a blast with all the kids & got loads of stuff. We are officially summer ready! Thanks to all his Easter bunnies!
