Guys I've officially joined the Games of Thrones band wagon! My husband absolutely loves this show, like do not talk to him while he is watching it. He always wants to hold discussions about what happening or the excitement in his face to tell me about a show I know nothing about. So I'm currently making my way through season 1 & I have to admit it's pretty good so far. Season 7 is fixing to end & the next doesn't start until next year, so I will be able to follow season 8 & be up to date. But here's some of my favorites.

Babys Favorite Song

Hey dears. So if you know my little guy personally or if you've ever been in a car with us you will know he loves one specific song. If he's tired, fussy, or just wants to hear his music you just have to put on Pentatonix song Hallelujah. The minute the song one & is he's fussy or just chilling the crying will stop, the eyes will get big, & he is good to go. If he's tired he'll be out before the song finishes. It's been like that since the day he came home from the hospital. If he was fussy & refused to go to sleep simply play the song, & baby would be out. My moms theory is that because their Christmas album came out while I was in the hospital in December & constantly played it, she swears it's because he heard it from intrawomb. Baptism Celebration Ideas

Hey dears. My hubby & I have decided to get little man baptized. I know most people do this when their little ones are newborns but we've been talking about it for a while. I'm Baptist & my hubby is Catholic. We recently decided we wanted him to go to private Catholic school when the time comes, so we've started researching what needs to be done to make this happen. His godfather will make his confirmation in March-April next year and after that we will get his baptized. Now I know if we wanted to do this sooner we can have someone stand in one of the godparents places but we really wanted his actual godmother & godfather on paper. 

So for his cake we decided to go with a cupcake cake that will look like above, quite simple yet effective. I figure being the time that it will be we will just have the family over & do a crawfish boil along with some sweets & finger foods. So here is some simple ideas I found.

What's in his diaper bag?

Hey dears. So I thought it would be cute to do a mommy post that is like a what's in my bag, diaper bag edition. I know when I was approaching delivery I had very little idea what to pack in my baby's diaper bag. I mean I could literally buy out Babies R Us but realistically what do you really need in a diaper bag vs not. 

To start off this is a Honest Company bag in the color grey. I love this backpack bag vs a shoulder or elbow bag. It's highly convenient and out of the way when carrying baby, was a life savor when we were on vacation. So here's what I have in mine.

Favorite Baby Food Spoon

This by far has been my favorite baby food spoon & we've tried a lot. So they're called Re-Play & this made of recycled milk jugs. I love the shape of the spoons itself. Hayden eats really well with them, better than Munchkin spoons. I find other spoons give a lot of spillage, which can be bad if you anywhere but at home. The last thing you want when you're out is to look like the baby food exploded everywhere. I find he makes less of a mess & doesn't spit out much of his food with these. It comes with a plastic travel case which is perfect for the diaper bag & food on the go. They also sell a pack of 8 utensils which has 4 spoons & 4 forks, which will be something I plan on picking up. 

Now don't get me wrong, I think every baby will do better on different spoon. It just honestly depends on the baby itself & how they eat. Again these are what work best for Hayden. It also matches his little Paw Patrol bib he wears! I highly recommend them, I got ours from Babies R Us for a low price of $4.99 & the 8 piece utensil set is $3.99.

Prepping For Babys First Party

Hey dears. As you all know I'm a stickler for preparing in advance for parties, showers, or any kind of events to begin with that I'm hosting, however being as little mans birthday if quickly approaching & falls in between two major holidays that is already time & money consuming I wanted to get an extra early jump to planning & buying this year. I figure if I get majority or it now I can worry about birthday & Christmas gifts then.

We decided to go with a nautical theme for his birthday this year & let me tell you Pinterest and Etsy have been my best friend to get ideas. I really utilized Party City & Oriental Trade for his major party supplies, pinata, & party favors. I got Raven with Monkey Business to do his hanging decorations, banners, center pieces, & growth chart chalk board. Kris with Kriss Creations to do his cake & smash cake. Monica from Momma E's for his cupcakes. Etsy for his invitations & water bottle labels. 

For food I plan on just keeping it simple with hot dogs, a few finger foods with red & blue Hawaiian Punch, & a few homemade sweets. Some of my friends who do not have kids have yet to understand. I mean you understand right??

Deck of Scarlet | Edition No. 03

Hey dears! So I recently got in my third subscription from Deck of Scarlet & this month we got in this pretty little one. If you're unsure what this subscription entails you can check out the details here. As you can see the theme this time is more pinky peachy based. This month it doesn't have an lip liner & instead of a regular eye liner it has a liquid liner. This is something I'm more comfortable wearing, it;'s more me. For me it is perfect for the summer time!

This palette has some beautiful colors!
