All Nighter

Hey dears. It's quite exciting to say that Hayden has been officially sleeping through the night for about 3 weeks now. Yes that's right at 3.75 months he's sleeps through the whole night & by whole night I mean 7:00-5:30. Amazing right?!

Let me quickly take you through how I got him into his little routine. Hayden is usually at daycare 5 days a week, which he stays up majority of the time he's there or so they tell me. So once we get home from about 5:20-6:15 we have a little mat play time and then a little cuddle time before bath time.
Around 6:30 we start bath time & after that we lotion up and put on a sleeper. After that I give him a bottle with a syringe of Nighttime Gripe Water and after he has a good burp I swaddle him & he's usually out a short time later to go into his bassinet. After that I'm free to do whatever and I just randomly check on him until I go to bed. I set my morning alarm for 5:00 am & get everything together so that I can wake him up at 5:30 am and get him ready & fed.

Let me say this too, he knows his routine. If were not home around 6:30-7ish you can see his mood start to change because he usually bathed, fed, & asleep. Routines are important, so so important & what worked for me may not work for you. You just have to find what works well with your daily life & your little one & just roll with it.

Pure Brazilian Miracle |Review

Hey dears. In a recent post I mentioned this product as something I use in my hair after every wash & it's such a great product so I wanted to post a little review.

I originally got a small sample size bottle in a prior subscription box & to say that I fell for it, well that part is known as I've brought a full size bottle.

It's a leave in conditioner & after I finish washing my hair, I spray this throughout my hair, along with a few other products, & give it a good brush through. It smells amazing & leaves my hair really soft & healthy looking. I got mine off of Amazon for $20.

Luxury Lush Pud | LUSH

Hey dears. This little one was something I had lying around from Christmas time so I figured why not give it a go. I'm pretty sure I've had this one in the past & may or may not have written a post about it, but oh well!

This little fella is from Lush. As you can see it's quite the colorful one. Mainly consist of pink & a white top with spots of blue, yellow, & green. Smells of lavender (love) & leaves you with pretty pink water. The little piece of holly stays a float a bit once the rest has dissolved & will eventually dissolve itself. Still love this one!

Maintaining Naturally Curly Hair vs Straight Hair

Hey dears. Let's talk hair. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair & let me be honest it can be a pain sometimes. You always hear people with straight hair saying they wish they had curly hair & I can say I wish my hair would be peacefully straight sometimes. With my type of hair I either let it air dry after a wash to get my curls or if I blow dry it I have to straighten it or else it frizzes out like a lions mane, yes like an actual lions mane.

For my curls, after a good wash & condition I spray in BB Curl Primer, Pantene Detangler, &  Pure Brazilian Leave In Conditioner. After that I give it a good brush through with my tangle teezer (God send!),  I let it air dry, & tada curls!
* To style once it's dry I just add in a little Aussie Aussome Volume Texturizing hair gel & Aussie Mega Aerosol Hairspray.

For my straight hair, after a good wash & condition I again use my Pantene Detangler & Pure Brazilian Leave in Conditioner & give it a brush through with my tangle teezer. After spraying my hair down with Phyto Keratine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray & I give it a good blow dry & then I'm able to move on to my Sephora straightener, tada straight hair! (I usually get a "did you put extensions in your hair? No, no I didn't.")
* To style my straight hair I just basically touch it up every morning to make it all nice & straight again & God forbid it be raining or be to humid. (que lion mane again) I mainly wear it straight during the winter months because that is my safety proof net.

Now after all that hard work on either occasion before I leave my house I toss my hair into a hair ban... I know why would I do all that work to just put it up?? Well let me tell you I've never been a person to wear my hair down unless I really really have too. Sad but it's true.

Does you hair need as much maintenance??

Sigma Beauty Express Brush Cleaning Mat

Hey dears. So this little beauty is a new find from Sigma. It's a silicone mat that suctions to the bottom of you sink for you to use to give your make up brushes a good clean. As you can see it has 7 different textures you can use for your brushes. It does give you advice on which texture may be of better use to a certain brush. I've used this for the past 2 weeks & I can honestly say I love it. I find it gives my brushes a deeper cleansing wash that you cannot really get when you would normally wash them. You can get this straight from Sigma for $32 with a free 2 year warranty. My personal opinion it's definitely worth it.

Deck of Scarlet Subscription

Hey dears. So you know I have a love for make-up subscriptions, well this is a new one I stumbled upon. It called Deck of Scarlet & basically like the picture says you pay $29.95 every other month & you get this amazing palette that has 2 cream lip colors, 3 eye shadows, a highlighter, a cheek color, a lip liner, & a eye liner. It was created by beauty bloggers & youtubers who have gotten together to arrange these beautiful palettes. I did however cancel my Ipsy & Sephora subscription for the time being because I was starting to get and over run of beauty supplies, so I figured it was 1 step up from having multiple little pieces to a full palette. I know that insane to say but it's true. I will however eventually resubscribe to them.

I cannot wait until I get mt first palette in & I believe it is the palette pictured below. Again look how beautiful it is.
