Annual 30 Day Snap

Hey dears. It's crazy to think it's that time of the year again. Since I've started my blog I've done the 30 Day Snap ever year. It's been in a different month each time so I figured why not in the summer this time! Basically you take a snap of whatever you want each day of the month and post it! It's always fun finding different things to take snaps of. Hope you enjoy & follow along. Also why not give it a go yourself!

Clarisonic Mia 2 Cleansing Brush

Hey dears. So I recently decided to buy a facial cleansing brush & after doing some research I stumbled upon this little beauty. The Clarisonic Mia 2 is a highly rated product that has 2 sonic cleansing speeds, helps sweep away dirt & oil, is waterproof, & is rechargeable.

So I tried this out the first night I received it & it was instant love. It came with a small sample size refreshing gel cleanser, which smells amazing. To use I basically wet my face just a little, add a pea size amount of the cleanser gel & turn it on. It gives you 20 seconds for your forehead, 20 seconds for your T zone & 10 seconds for each cheek.

The results well lets just say it doesn't matter how much you wash or clean your face on a regular, the amount of make up that face brush took off my face was insane. To say the least it was really worth it!

If you're interested in checking this out you can either find it at Clarisonic or Sephora.

Mom (Pink) Bath Bomb | Lush

Hey dears. Haven't done one of these post in a while. Recently I splurged a little and picked up a few bath bombs. In light of Mother's Day just passing I picked up one of these babies. First thought is it's a cute little thing. Its actually quite small & smells some what floral. Once I added it to my water pastel pink, green, & yellow start to seep out. All in all it wasn't like wow this is amazing, it turned the water a very clear light pink color & the smell wasn't all that amazing. The cutest part was the little message that popped out. You know I'll try any bath bomb once, however outside of the occasion I don't think this will be a repurchase.

4 Month | Pediatric Visit | Bub

Hey dears. So today little man had his 4 month well visit. Can I just say I cannot believe that my baby is already 4 months old, like where has time gone? Before we start though lets just do a quick update about him in general.

He sleeps through the night, smiles up a storm, laughs, attempts to roll over, loves to watch YouTube videos & TV, tries to hold his own bottle, sticks out his tongue like it's going out of style, one of his biggest achievements is he learned the suck swallow breath method, holds his head up, & the list can go on. Even though he's technically only supposed to be dong what a 3 month old corrected gestational age should be doing, he's doing a little more than expected. To say we are proud happy parents is an understatement.

His visit went well. He got the necessary shots that are due for his age this visit, he tolerated those really well. He's now 11lb 6oz & is 22 inches long. My little man is becoming
a big man. It's like you can see him growing daily. Some of his newborn outfits are starting to get a little snug!

My baby 😭❤

Mother's Day Gifts

Hey dears. This year for Mother's Day I was able to utilize all of the new baby additions on both sides of the family. When I think Mother's Day I always think Mother's bracelet or necklace, & let's be honest majority of mother's will have and item or two already like these. However this year I got both of our mother's a little necklace with their term on it, you know what the kids call them.

For my mothers necklace I was able to put the grand kids and great grand kids birthstones on it, which there are 5 of them. For my mother-in-law I was able to put her grand kids birthstones, which there are 2. I got them both off of Etsy and pricing ranges for however many stones you will need, but even with 5 of them it was reasonably priced in my opinion.
I personally love them to pieces & think they came out beautifully. I hope they enjoy them as much as I do. Now onto planning Father's Day!

Beach Vacation | Prepping & Packing For Baby

Hey dears. We have an upcoming vacation trip to Destin, FL planned for the beginning of June. I know fun right? It's also been pretty fun to pick out stuff for Hayden to wear & bring, also things we'll need for the beach. So lets jot down a few things that are a must when packing for a baby to go on vacation.

luggage bag
outfits (daily, sleep, & swimwear)
diapers & wipes
medications you may need
formula &/or baby food
bottles
diaper bag
stroller
moby wrap/chest carrier
bathing necessities
rock & play
blankets

beach towel
umbrella
breathable beach tent
battery operated fan
sunscreen
bug spray (just in case)
sunglasses
hat
swim diapers
beach toys
beach bag
insurance information
lightweight diaper bag

Guys the list can go on and on & there is going to always be something else you can add. I'll just leave it as you know your child, bring what fits your child. Some things I may bring you wont need & vise versa.

With that being said... Happy Traveling

Brazilian Wax

Hey dears. So lets talk about something more adultish then what I normally post. Let's be honest a lot of women trim, shave, or wax in this day & age; it's a common thing to do. I personally am a fan of getting Brazilian waxes. I have done so since I was 15 weeks pregnant because at that time I got to the point where I just didn't have the energy for shaving, if I'm honest I didn't have the energy to do so before I was pregnant but did so anyway.

After talking to a friend who was also pregnant at the time & hearing her say how much easier it was to get a wax & go see them ever 4 weeks and not worry about having to become a contortionist; it just captured my interest & my curiosity. I know what they say curiosity kills the cat but this time it just takes the hair off of it (yes that's my attempt at a joke).

I see my consultant, who is the best, every 3- 4 weeks, visits usually last about 10-15 minutes. What I love is she never makes it weird or awkward, she just talks to you and basically catches up with you like old friends. One of the good things about waxing is I find you don't have to worry about razor bumps or ingrown hairs (if you do proper aftercare). After your first visit they usually recommend you buy something call Tend Skin and it basically is this really strong alcohol smelling astringent that prevents ingrowns.

I was always terrified of getting a wax in the past but I figured I was fixing to birth a child so nothing can compare to that pain wise & I was right. Pain wise it wasn't bad at all & in my personal opinion it was a great decision that eliminates something that can be so time consuming!
