First Sleep Over

Hey dears. Saturday night we had our first sleep over at our house. Bub's cousin Paisley came sleep over & it went so smoothly! Steven's offshore so I think a few people thought I was nuts for tackling two toddlers by myself but the kids always do you really well together, so it was kid of a piece of cake. My parents & his family came over for supper Saturday night, after supper they played a bit with Nathan. While I was giving them bathes meme snuck away & from there it was milk, tv, & bedtime. To top it off both kids spelt the whole night, so I count it as a win. Quite proud of them little ones!

Midlife Crisis?

Hey dears! After a much needed break, it feels great to be back. As you know last November I turned 30, which I'm totally ok with. But this past Friday I did a few things that made my sisters question if I'm having a midlife crisis. Do I think I'm having a mid life crisis? In my opinion the answer is no. 

I made the grown up decision to take my belly button ring out because I'm a mom and I'm old now. However I did get a nostril piercing & a tattoo on my collar bone, both I've been wanting for a while. The tattoo is for bub. He's a Capricorn, so it's a blue capricorn zodiac sign & his birthday in roman numerals. As for the nostril piercing, it was something I've been wanting to do for a while & after checking with work to make sure it's ok, I went and got it done. Literally took 5 seconds to do and I didn't feel a thing. I went to Triple A to get both done. Karen & Urban were both really great & sweet, both did an awesome job!

So moral of the story midlife crisis or not?
