March Ipsy Subscription

Hey dears. So it's that time of the month again for another subscription post. If you interested in finding out more about it you can check out my post here. So lets get straight into it.

First off lets talk about how cute the bag is this month.

Neogen Coconut Milk Pure Mild Cleanser- This softens, brightens, & hydrates skin. It goes from creamy to sudsy. You apply it dry to you face then add a little water to create the suds and then massage into your skin.

Cake Desserted Island Supreme Body Mousse- This has a combo scent of vanilla & coconut. Great to apply after exfoliating. 

Tarteist Quick Dry Lip Paint- I got this in the color Rose. *swatch below* Vegan friendly. This is such a beautiful color. Now I've done a review before in regards to a few other shades I have. I have a love for these.

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow-  I got in the color Marisa. This is such a lovely shimmer rose color. This is supposed to glide right on without caking or creasing.

Chella Tweezers- It so hard to find a good pair of tweezers, but I have finally found a pair (yes I have tried them). These tweezers are a lovely red-orange color, the handle was designed to give you a steady grip with a precision tip to get those teeny tiny hairs.

Foreo Luna Play

Hey dears. So this little beauty is a waterproof facial cleanser device that channels T-Sonic pulsations through soft silicone touch-points for deep and gentle cleansing. It gives you 60 seconds to scrub your entire face. This helps with your pores, skin tone, & texture. This device is good for 100 uses. It's good for all skin types. Sephora describes it as "a nonabrasive silicone brush, this compact yet powerful device gently removes dead skin cells, and lifts away 99.5 percent of dirt, oil, and makeup residue. It enhances the absorption of skin care products to refine, brighten, and even out the complexion."

I use mine on my forehead for 20 seconds, chin for 20 second, & I split the rest of the time between my cheeks & nose. Make sure you use some kind of cleansing gel with his also to give it a good scrub. I use my Vichy Normaderm Gel Cleanser. I use this at least 4 nights a week & the difference I see with the size of my pores & just the over all feel of my skin is amazing. In turn I also see a big difference in the amount of breaks out I have.

I got mine from Sephora for $39 & let me tell you it's so worth it.

Monkey Business By Raven | Advert

Hey dears. So there's this great little business page on facebook called Monkey Business. It's this cute down south site where you can get custom party decorations, vinyl decals on almost anything (literally), custom holiday items, custom t-shirts, & so much more. 

I can personally say that these are some good quality items. I've ordered from here many times & let me tell you it won't be the last. She will also post other random knickknack things that usually coincide with an upcoming holiday or season. Right now up for sale are popsicle holders, beach spikers, & tumblr wine glasses, offered with personalization. YOu can also get seashell bags, Koozies, custom Easter shirts, baskets, & eggs. 

Very reasonably priced, responds quickly to messages, & ships anywhere in the U.S.

Balancing Work, Home Life, & Motherhood | Newborn Photos

Hey dears. So life, it can be pretty insane in general by itself. Adulting isn't always fun but toss a baby into the mix & it can get pretty hectic really quickly. 

Now don't get me wrong, I love my little guy to the moon & back but he makes life so much more interesting. So here is how I balance working, home life, baby, & even hanging out with people.

- I work full time at a multi-practice doctors office. Monday is a 8-7 day, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday is a 8-5, & Wednesdays is a 8-2. While I'm at work Hayden is at a daycare down the road from my work, which makes it really convenient to pick him up in the evening. However on Mondays either my mother or hubby will pick him up since daycare closes at 5:30.

- Home life is still in full force, it just has to go around when baby isn't hungry or fussy for whatever reason. Which in his case isn't often he's just randomly fussy, he's a really good baby. He will also eat anywhere from 4-5 hours, sometimes even sleeping for 7 hours during the night. Other than that I am able to do whatever house work I need to do while he hangs out in his 4mums rocker or plays on his play pad.

- Having a little one can be exhausting at times but is absolutely everything. I didn't have to alter life much for him to fit into it easily. I now get up at 5 am and get the few things I need to get together, take care of pups, & do little house chores like picking up laundry or dishes. I usually wake him up around 5:30 to change him, get him dressed, & feed him. Then usually around 6 am he will just hang out in his bassinet while I get ready for work or just get ready for the day in general until it's time to go. 

- Managing relationships with a newborn isn't as hard as what you think it would be. I do a lot of things with my niece-in-law, she has a 16 month old little girl and a little boy who is less than a day older then Hayden. We have a thing were at least once a month we have someone watch the kids and have a mommy's day out. Whether that's going eat & watch a movie, getting our nails done, shopping, or just hanging out with a glass of wine.

I also want to say a huge thank you to Megan at Baby Bloom Studios for taking my little mans newborn pictures. You did an amazing job. You are so patient with these little ones & so encouraging to the parents.

Coachella

Hey dears. So this post has to do with one of my top to do's on my bucket list. It's to be able to go to Coachella. If you don't know what it exactly is, it's basically this huge music fest in 

Indio, CA. It's usually held in April and takes place over 2 weekends., both weekends have the same line up of music artist. Booths, bands, activities, camping, food- what more can you ask for.

Now this is a little pricey but in all honest what you able to do while there, it's well worth it. You can also pick accommodation packages that include your weekend pass & hotel stay. Which I must say pricing isn't that bad for it either, all you have to do is pay for your flight. Tickets usually go on sale in June to attend next year, they even offer payment plans if needed. 

Let's just say in the next few years this dream will be coming true.

Bestie's Big Day

Hey dears. This weekend I was able to be apart of my best friend of 27 years big day. I cannot tell you how happy I am that she has found a man a great as her new husband. Not only can he be the man to treat her as well as she deserves but be the father her kids deserve. I cannot thank you both for allowing me to witness and take part of the start of your new chapter in life.

Time Flies...

Hey dears. So today was packed with festive activities! We celebrated Kylie's 14th birthday by hitting up Sky Zone & blowing some money at the mall. Sephora being the main hit. What doesn't sound better than that. We also went to Babies'R'Us & lord the girls ran crazy. Also the girls had a blast "taking care" of Hayden. Here's a few snipets from today.

Two Months | Bub

I cannot believe how much time has flown by to where our little man is already two months old. To think that 1 month ago he was still in NICU with a feeding tube & now the things he's doing amazes me.

So technically Hayden is only supposed to be 2 weeks old right now but his demeanor is definitely one of an older baby. He's starting to coo, loves tummy time, laugh & smile more, he stays awake for longer periods, he's constantly holding his head up for longer periods, & even tries to roll over.

We were also blessed in the sense that he's a good baby. During the Mardi Gras parades he slept the whole time while in his moby wrap. He for the most part sleeps through the night & wakes up only to eat or if his diaper in dirty. He absolutely loves car rides & will crash for majority of the ride.

Fizzbanger | Lush Review

Hey dears. For this Lush bath bomb review, I'm not to sure if I've ever purchased this one before, but who cares...

This little beauty smells amazing from the second you open the plastic packaging. It smells so zesty & lemony. Once you drop it in you think your water would be yellow right? Nope, blue slowly starts to seep out & turns you water this pretty lime green color. Let's not for get the smell is still strong as ever. Also once its done out pops this little BANG paper.

Lush describes it as "Whizz! Bang! Pop! Fizz! Fizzbanger goes off in the bath water as if it were loaded with miniature fireworks.
