Naughty Dog Love | Review

Hey dears. So a bit of a different post today, going to talk a little about my favorite video games. I have two favorite games Uncharted Series & The Last of Us, both are made my Naughty Dog. What I think draws me in is these games are not made like most games. They are captured by whats called Motion Capture or MoCap (pics below from both games). Basically the people portraying the characters put on this suits & act out the scenes while doing the voice recordings. All actions & reactions are genuine. To me it just makes the game seem more natural & realistic. Not to mention their graphics & scenery are just phenomenal, the story lines can take you on an emotional roller coaster, & you start to love the characters.

Uncharted you follow a character of Nathan Drake through these insane adventures. It's kind of a mix between Indiana Jones & National Treasure.  They currently have 4 games out with a 5th coming out in August, a novel (Uncharted: The Fourth Labyrinth), Drakes Journal created by Drake himself Nolan North, a motion comic (Uncharted: Eye of Indra) & 6 comic books.

The Last of Us you follow Joel & Ellie through the trials & survival in a post apocalyptic world where you not only have to worry about runners, clickers, & bloaters but the crazy people who try to kill you. Currently there is 1 game out with a extra mini series called Left Behind that you can download and they recently announced a part II that will be coming out soon along with 4 comic books (The Last of Us: American Dreams).

Both games have some of the same people who play different characters like Nolan North & Troy Baker, who each play amazing vital roles. Their natural humor can crack anyone up. If you a nerd like I am look up a few videos and watch them interact, the comedy & the chemistry between the cast is phenomenal. I have collected quite a few items from their collections & display them to the fullest.

Do you like to play videos games? What are some of your favorite games?
