6 Months | Bub

Hey dears. So it's been another 2 months & little man had his 6 month check up today! Everything is going well & let me tell you time is flying.

So just a little update on him in general... he eats baby food like it's going out of style, has rolled over a hand full of times, talks like there's no tomorrow, loves to watch TV in his walker,  has 2 teeth, & started sleeping in his own room.

The transition from a bassinet in our room to his crib in his room was fairly easy. After eating some baby food, having a bath, then usually drinking around 4 oz. of formula, he usually crashes fairly easy. He also took to baby food fairly quickly, it's like once the teeth came out the reflex to eat came with it & that baby can put away some baby food, along with mash potatoes. He also hates tummy time & his rolling over is in spite of him hating being on his stomach not that he really wanted to roll over, but they still count. The talking/squealing/screaming has increased quite a bit & it usually takes place at 1 am before he crashes again. Lastly he loves some TV, especially is it's while he's in his walker watching a old classic Disney movie.

Today at his pediatricians he got the necessary shots, weighs 14lbs 3oz, & is 24.25 inches long. He has a check up to repeat his hearing test coming up & that's just done because he was preemie. So fingers crossed that all goes well with that.  Other then that things are progressing well & he's doing well at keeping up with the other children his age considering he was early. To say they are quite please with how advanced he is being he was a preemie would be an understatement. So now we get to try to think is formula out some with less oatmeal, start with some table foods, & we will see them back at 9 months!
